Of course it isn't as great as a proper higher-end PC, but it's amazing how close to PC gaming you can get with a relatively budget-friendly (compared to a PC of similar power) Xbox console nowadays and you can even change graphics settings in many games now (although still not nearly as extensively as on a PC - although I wish I could turn off motion blur in all games as it usually causes me headaches, some Xbox games have added a toggle for that lately, though). Also, I play flight- and space-combat sims with an Xbox compatible HOTAS and racing sims with Xbox compatible racing wheel. I regularly do play such games on my Xbox Series X, on which a lot of shooters, Strategy (real time or not), Isometric RPG games support USB keyboard and mouse. While that may be more true for the PS5, it isn't generally the case with consoles anymore. Yup, it's far from the plug and play experience it used to be.
